We all know that the religious right wingers can make or break an election... Jerry Falwell and Richard Land proved that by trying to lean their respective congregations towards voting bush (bush still did not win but I am not discussing semantics here)
Do You think the church has a responsibility to state their opinions about candidates... or is that better left outside the realm of church going people? or a better question is.... What do you think the role of religion plays when going to the polls to vote, Statistics show that the "religious left" and "religious right" are about even right now. (23 percent religious voters being the right and 21% left...) Barak Obama, Mike Huckabee, and the rest of the candidates have all proclaimed faith. So they say they believe... now do we take that to the polls as a deciding factor? This is what our fore fathers fought for... freedom of religion? and they all have to be "born again christians"? anywho grab a pot of Coffee and let the debate begin! I love open forums
